Rhino-Shield achieves this through an innovative blend of 100% acrylic elastomeric and urethane resins with 3M Brand Ceramic Micro-Spheres. This forms a flexible and extremely tough protective shield that reflects more than 90% of the suns rays and creates an impenetrable barrier against hurricane-force winds. |

Conventional paints utilize inexpensive mineral products and even vinyl as fillers that are irregular in shape and size. Rhino-Shield uses no fillers and incorporates different sized ceramic micro-spheres. The smaller spheres pack more tightly into the spaces between the larger spheres. The more densely the coating is packed with micro-spheres, the less susceptible it is to stains and the thicker it is when dry. |
